Hipo.ro has launched the Labor Market Hipo.ro in 2023 Study, which includes predictions from 222 HR specialists from large companies operating in Romania’s market. Regarding the number of open positions in 2023, 43% of the participating companies’ managers and HR experts predict an increase in recruitment in business and technology.
“We notice the generous volume of jobs, both for professionals and juniors. 46% of respondent companies believe that the number of entry-level jobs will increase in 2023, and 54% see an increase in the number of opportunities for professionals!” – Dragoș Gheban, Managing Partner @Hipo.ro
“For the spring of 2023, we are coming with over 80 available positions, mostly in the area of students, recent graduates, and juniors with up to 2 years of experience, but also with positions for seniors and managers. The jobs are in audit teams, financial services, and accounting, but also in IT, HR, or administration.” – Ligia Badea, Head of HR @Mazars.
Regarding the recruitment process in 2023, 88% of employers expect a market as complex as in 2022. 81% predict the recruitment level will be the same or more challenging. Only 28% believe that the hiring process will be easier. Thus, the labor market becomes a market of candidates.
Regarding the fields of activity, according to the results of the Labor Market Hipo.ro in 2023 Study, most employers will recruit this year in IT, human resources, audit/accounting, and engineering departments. Unlike last year, the number of companies estimating that they will recruit in the logistics and procurement department has increased by over 22%. 28% of the participating companies in the study predict an increase in the number of jobs in accounting/finance. As for engineering departments, 29% of employers estimate that they will hire this year.
According to the Labor Market Hipo.ro in 2023 Study, most jobs will be in the IT&C area, both in IT companies and business companies with a Tech component.
