This year’s edition of the virtual job fair Angajatori de Top Business brings together 40 important companies in Romania, which have to offer over 5,000 career opportunities, half of which are remote. After 2020 the companies start focusing their recruitment efforts almost exclusively on experienced specialists, this year, two-thirds of the employers present at the job fair recruit for junior positions with 1-3 years of experience.
The event takes place on the Hipo.ro platform between October 4 and November 7, 2021.
Half of the companies recruit specialists in Bucharest or Timișoara, 35% in Cluj-Napoca, Piteștior Brașov, 30% in Iași or Sibiu, 29% in Craiova or Galați. Other cities present on the Map of Top Employers in Business 2021 are Oradea, Arad or Filiași. More than half of the companies present at this edition have international service centers in Romania and all employers can be visited at the virtual stands on the Hipo.ro platform.
Most companies (80%) are looking for specialists for positions in the departments of Marketing, HR, Finance, Sales, Legal, Administrative, Management Consulting, Accounting and Customer Relations, but there are also opportunities for technical positions.
An important aspect during this period is the well-being of employees. 50% of the companies present at the event have included in the benefit packages, programs dedicated to mental health and employee well-being. One in three companies has expanded its list of benefits from private medical subscriptions, 35% reimburse the costs of courses and programs to improve professional skills, 15% expand online consultations and offers a private pension, and 10% provide monthly amounts for the settlement of maintenance for employees working full remote.
Starting with October 28, candidates will be able to participate in online workshops dedicated to career development, leadership, time management. On November 4 we will hold live discussions with employers and career coaching sessions. Candidates will also be able to participate in treasure hunts and can win substantial prizes.
